Caast.TV Digitalizes Home Shopping for "La Nouvelle Eco" on France Bleu Nord
Every morning on France Bleu Nord, the show shines a spotlight on innovative companies from the region. This time, it's Antoine Leclercq, CEO of Caast.TV, joining journalist Nicole BUYSE on her show "La Nouvelle Eco".

๐ First of all โ what exactly is Live Shopping?
Nicole BUYSE, journalist for France Bleu Nord "It's live commercial entertainment on the internet. You're familiar with in-store promotions โ salespeople at a supermarket pitching their saucisson, or TV hosts demonstrating the latest abs belt that'll make you lose weight. Live shopping is the same thing, but live on the web, with hosts โ either influencers or brand experts โ showcasing the latest kitchen appliance, for example. Caast.TV helps companies run their Live Shopping. Antoine Leclercq, CEO, explains how it's broadcast."
Antoine LECLERCQ, CEO OF CAAST.TV. "It's broadcast in two different ways: either directly on the e-commerce site where the products are sold โ so today we work with Cdiscount, Fnac, Darty, Boulanger, Electro Dรฉpรดt, Sephora, Petit Bateau and many others.
We broadcast the live streams directly on their site, which is key because it gives direct access to the cart โ meaning during the live, you can add products you're interested in to your cart and complete the purchase at the end of the session. It works really well. In parallel, we also have the option to broadcast on social media."
Nicole BUYSE, journalist for France Bleu Nord "It can run on multiple social networks simultaneously, and Live Shopping sessions can be broadcast on the brand's partner sites. Viewers can also ask questions via chat, and it can even be animated with a live contest."
๐ But what exactly does Caast.TV do?
According to Nicole BUYSE, they do three things:
- First, handle the entire technology side โ meaning the actual integration on the relevant e-commerce site.
- Then, Caast.TV guides the client on choosing the right partners for producing the videos: the live host (an influencer or in-house product expert), making sure everything is ready before going live, and above all anticipating issues since it's all real-time. In short, they share all the tips for running a successful live.
- And finally, managing the entire Live Shopping project from A to Z.
